Im oben genannten Zeitraum kam es zu einer Störung im globalen Routing.

Nach unserer Erkenntnis ging die Störung von AS3216 VIMPEL/GOLDENTELECOM aus, welche more-specific routen global announced hatte, was zu Problemen bei vielen Carriern weltweit führte.
Nachdem wir die Ursache des Problems identifiziert hatten, haben wir umgehend Maßnahmen ergriffen um das Problem zu umgehen.

In the mentioned timeframe we saw a problem in the global routing.

In our understanding the problem originated from AS3216 VIMPEL/GOLDENTELECOM which globally announced more-specific routes that led to problems on many carriers worldwide.
After identifying the cause of the problem, we immediately took measure to prevent this problem to cause any more impact to our customers.
