local field team has been engaged for site checks and OTDRs. &lt;br /&gt;
ETA is 2:30 hours from this current update.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Update 2026-06-04 15:37 UTC +02:00&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;All engineers are currently on-site and investigating the matter.&lt;br /&gt;
Issue was found to be near the building in Mannheim.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Update 2026-06-04 22:04 UTC +02:00&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Field teams remain onsite and currently suspect that the damaged cable section is not directly accessible within the building. Investigations are ongoing to determine the exact location and extent of the damage.
In parallel, our Outside Plant (OSP) management team is assessing an alternative restoration option by migrating affected services onto an adjacent cable route.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Update 2026-06-05 09:35 UTC +02:00&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The outage is ongoing, with the OSP team actively trying to locate and repair a damaged fiber cable. They were unable to find a usable connection point inside the&lt;br /&gt;
building or at the first external joint, so they have moved to another interception point to continue restoration efforts. Resolution is delayed due to difficulty accessing the cable infrastructure.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Update 2026-06-05 14:15 UTC +02:00&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Das Problem wurde behoben.&lt;br /&gt;
