Our provider identified a fiber issue between Niederkassel, Germany and Herstel, Germany.

The local provider has dispatched repair teams to the test site to further isolate the damage and has provided the estimated time of arrival of 19:00 UTC+1. The second local provider has engaged repair teams to a second test site; however, an estimated time of arrival is not available.

The local provider completed light level testing and identified and further isolated the issue to be on the second local provider's network. Testing efforts remain pending with the second local provider.

Field Operations is standing by if needed once the local provider completes light level testing in Herstal, Belgium. An estimated time of arrival remains pending.

The local provider has completed light level testing and identified a break in the fiber 15.47 miles from the test site, on the underlying
provider's network. The underlying provider is being engaged to further isolate the damage
and commence repairs

The European NOC reported the local providers fiber damage is on a bridge over a river
which they are unable to access due to rising water levels for health and safety reasons.
The local provider attempted to explore a re-route option but need access to a manhole to
do this. The manhole in question is on a road and to access the manhole will require
traffic management. Traffic management will not be available until first thing in the
morning, December 03, 2021, at 07:00 GMT. Please be advised the next update will be
provided when the local provider gains access to the manhole or if new information becomes
