Es wurde bereits ein Ticket beim Leitungsanbieter eröffnet.

Aufgrund des redundanten Netzaufbaus kommt es zu keinen Ausfällen.

Eine genaue Dauer des Problems ist noch nicht bekannt.

We are currently seeing an Outage on the following Links:

London2 (Equinix LD5) - Paris1 (Telehouse - Paris 2 (Voltaire))

A ticket with the third-party supplier has already been opened.

Due to the redundant network structure, there is no outage.

An ETR is not available yet.

We see our links have recovered. The intervention on site is still ongoing and the techs are not yet hands off.

Following assessment of the cable damage, it has been determined that a full cable replacement is necessary. Preparations for the new cable and splicing at both ends are currently underway.
Team on site anticipate that splicing will commence at approximately 17:30 CET and is expected to take 4 hours to complete.

The repair team on-site is currently installing new cable. We are still waiting for (ETR).

Our fiber partners have informed us that the spare cable for repairs is anticipated to arrive at the site by 10 UTC. The plan is to utilize the existing duct at the construction site to install the new cable, followed by resplicing at both ends.

The field teams from our partner have identified a joint outside of a construction site that they are currently setting up to determine whether the issue lies within the construction site or deeper within the network.

Our partner's field teams have located a joint enclosure in the area of the fault and have further isolated the issue 4km from the joint.

Their planning team provided a location of the damage from this point and the fibre team are moving to this location now to walk the route in this area.

OTDR test was done and fault was identified to be on 57km from Polegate / 22km from Pease Pottage. Our provider's splicing team is en route to the suspected fault location in order to further isolate the issue. Teams are expected to arrive within 1 hour.
