Our 3rd party provider confirmed that the cable repair works are ongoing as planned. A rough final fix for all fibres has been confirmed to be around 23:00 CET.

Splicing team will reach the site around 15:00 CET. Once on site, they will assess the fault and make a plan to restore the cut with a temporary solution.

Excavation is completed and the cable is lose. Technicians are beginning to splice the fibers.

A work team is dispatched for the digging and cable splicing. The reason the digging was not begun last night was due to strict German regulations regarding work in residential area. No ETR yet.

The fault location has been found on a construction site in Hamburg. Due to local authorities the repair works have been postponed until tomorrow morning. The Field Team requires heavy machines to dig up the fault location and repair the segment. This has been prohibited by local authorities as works after certain hours in public spaces involving loud noises are by law restricted in Germany.

Fibre provider team is on site and actively troubleshooting the issue, which has been located to be approximately 10 km outside Hamburg.
