We’ve been informed by our contractor that the cable pulling operation has been temporarily halted. The local power company has restricted access to the tunnel due to safety concerns, preventing technicians from proceeding. We are currently working to obtain an updated estimated time for resolution (ETR) and will keep you informed as soon as we have more details.

Cable pulling is currently underway as part of the ongoing restoration efforts. The teams are actively working on the impacted fiber infrastructure. A damaged 144-fiber optic cable has been identified and is in the process of being removed to facilitate the restoration.

Resolving this fault may take longer than usual due to the involvement of multiple teams. As previously mentioned, a major fire occurred over the weekend, severely damaging several cables. The affected area is an underground tunnel currently occupied by local electrical engineers, fire marshals, and technicians from other companies, which is making access and repair efforts more challenging.

The outage was caused by fire and multiple fiber operators are working on the are currently. There are more than 50 cables in the tunnel, and everything has burned. All the cables pass through the same tunnel; it is not possible for several people to descend into this tunnel. Co-operation does not allow for the pull. The technical team is waiting for the access to start to pull the fibers. The technical team expects to get access in the fault location to pull the fiber and start splicing at 7 am UTC.

We are observing an outage between COURBEVOIE and LE RONSARD" VILLEPINTE FRANCE and we are investigating at the moment.
