The fiber team has identified approximately 300 meters of damaged fiber cable that requires replacement. Due to the inaccessibility of the existing route, the replacement is being carried out via a new route. Currently, cable pulling and new joint installation work are in progress and is expected to be completed by 22:15 GMT on 06/11/2025. Following this, cable preparation will commence. No Estimated time for the service restoration available at this moment. We will keep you updated on the progress of incident resolution. Thank you.

The network links are impacted between Ghent and Brussels in Belgium due to suspected fiber cable cut. Remote optical measurements indicated fiber fault 300 Meters from Ghent node towards Brussels. Provider fiber team is enroute to Ghent node site for further investigation and their estimated time of arrival (ETA) is 18:00 GMT.
