Please be advised that this outage is now classed as a Force Majeure Event due to an on going fire that has damaged the cable. As such our fibre team cannot get access to repair the fibre and need to wait for local authorities for access approval due to health and safety risk. Local fire services are currently active on site.

The outage is caused by a major fire on Floridsdorf bridge crossing the Danube in Vienna. The fire brigade team is working to stop the fire and the bridge is currently closed until the fire is put out. The local authorities are preventing access to the bridge until it is deemed safe.
