Our provider informs, splicing at one side has is just about to begin. They will have additional techs joining up so there will be 2 splice teams working on the site so they can begin splicing the other end as well.

Preparations for the splicing work are still ongoing. The provider also suspects that the fiber cut may have been caused by roadwork activities on the fault location.

Excavation work is currently in progress while the provider's crew prepares the necessary equipment and cables. Once the preparations are complete, they will proceed with the cable splicing activities.

A cable fault between Johanneshov and Tystberga, Sweden was identified. Field teams are currently working to pinpoint the exact location of the damage.
