Our field team are still pending permit approval to access the fault area. A new FLM crew is being dispatched from Valencia with the hope that they will be able to access the area after 16:30 UTC (18:30 local time). We will share an update if there is any change

Fibre cut is located on median of AP-7 motorway in the Benicarló area. Access is restricted due permits are required for lane closure to proceed with further fault finding and repairs. This has been requested however may take some time for approval. Technician has also been dispatched to perform further OTDR measurements from additional locations to confirm exact fault position identified is correct.

Measurements have been completed and a fiber break is observed at around 78km, which is close to the site in Benicarlo. The field team are travelling to the fault location to assess the damage.

The FLM team is currently en route to the site to perform OTDR measurements. Their ETA is approximately 2 hours.
